Catch Up & DISCOUNTS! Come Join Me x

Oh hey there! I've been a little bit too absent recently and for that, I apologise my dears! Not only have I been working ridiculously hard, I am newly single and learning to live a happy little life, just me and Princess (my little 2-year-old Bichon Frise)! I'm going to publish this newfound life on this blog and hope you come along with me for wherever I'm headed. Should be quite a laugh so stick around?!

Anyway, where do I start? I celebrated my birthday on Friday night with 10 very fine specimens of the human species. Together we consumed a ridiculous amount of alcohol and partied at Cameo nightclub in Watford, Hertfordshire. Whoever Kelly is who works at Cameo, I owe her a 'Thanks'! Getting a flyer in the post wishing me a 'Happy Birthday' and free drinks and entry for my whole party, it got the night off to a very smooth start! So, thanks Cameo Kelly!

I would LOVE to share a picture of my outfit however not one of the mug shots make the cut! My party look right now is totally all about crop tops and pencil skirts! Thanks to my hourglass/pear figure my wide hips and smaller waist work so well with this trend! On Friday my crop top was a lacy, denim, Forever 21 bustier crop which I teamed with an ASOS black sport-luxe pencil skirt! Sambuca comes in handy when it is freezing outside, too!

These are my top 3 crops and pencil skirts available online NOW:

1) Crop It Like It's Hot from ASOS - £7.50 (Hellloooo sale item!!)

I've been having a look at what's going on in the beauty bibles, too! An extreeeemely generous friend of mine gave me the gift of Chanel for my birthday which means reviews on their gorgeous mascara and eyeshadow palettes at some point in the next week...hold tight for these! It will be my first ever dabble with designer make-up and I'm hoping it's worth the hype!
One MASSIVE trend I adore right now is the need for C O L O U R!!

I'm currently OBSESSED with this lot from the Kinga Sektas Boutique:

California Sugarbird Earrings / Love Necklace / Cindy Earrings

I currently have permission to offer EVERYTHING on the Kinga Sektas website at a discounted offer so if you LOVE these comment below or tweet me @sheldan2207...
I own ALL of the three pieces above and, let me tell you, they are AMAZING...people always comment on them and ask where I got them from. Not only that they are all so summery and on trend right now!
The earrings can be yours for £31.99 per pair and the necklace is just £3 for a limited time only!!!
If you want these or anything else on the site, come at me for the discounts!
I'll be doing my top 3 offers throughout the weeks for this boutique - whilst the offer's on we may as well use it, eh?!

So we've discussed clothes, life, beauty and jewellery...welcome back to the wannabe glam life of ME! Stop by tomorrow, I will be discussing unpredictable weather and how to dress up the forecasts!

AOTD: Glam Dangle Or Dramatic Flamingo?

This week I received two pairs of earrings and everyday since then I've struggled to choose which to wear! Today I'm in a leopard lace vest layered with a plain, black Gap blouse over the top teamed with wet look leggings and knee high Dorothy Perkins boots.

The first pair are a hand-made pair from the Kinga Sektas boutique (Alicia Earring) and are available in black, silver, cream or pink. Kinga, the owner and founder of the boutique created them after one of her customers told her how much of a fan they were of the Kardashians! After looking everywhere for earrings like the ones Kim Kardashian wore in last year's Kardashian Khristmas Kard they finally found them at Kinga Sektas.

As the world knows, I am also a Kardashian stalker so I got myself a pair of the Alicia earrings too!
They weigh only 12g so feel really light on the lobe, which I'll appreciate after work when I finish at 2am! Simple glamour perfect to add that little extra something to my outfit.

My second option are another pair of hand-made earrings made from genuine flamingo feathers dyed in the most dashing shades of hot pink and sunshine yellow! They are fun, flirty and very carnivarllll darlings! They are for sure a conversation starter...it's the first thing everyone mentions when they see me in them! Wearing these adds a touch of drama to my outfit. They are also available at Kinga Sektas in the Statement Collection

I thought writing a blog post on both pairs of earrings would help me decide which to wear, but not so much! I'm opting for the Kardashian inspired Alicias because they are light, simple and I feel the flamingo feathers will be wasted on an evening shift in the office!

Which ones do you guys prefer? Dramatic hot pink or understated K-Dash glamour? Comment below or tweet me @sheldan2207

What Are Your Desirables?

Walk into Accessorize and how do you feel? Open a Bombay Duck catalogue, are you just as excited? Does the organised chaos in Paperchase make total sense to you?

Then you've found the blog for you. After spending almost 35 minutes in H&M deciding between the beige beanie hat or the red rib-knit hat with the ickle bow detail (and then checking out with both) I realised my need for accessories has gotten a little out of hand.

Ornamental bird cages, Thomas Sabo and Christmas Ribbon are among my Most Desired Items today and I'll tell you why...

The vintage, Victorian bird cage image has forever been used to 'pretty up' an item, from bedsheets to hanging ornaments, it has always been a popular pattern between the frenzied accessory-holder. With the likes of  Lydia Bright and Dawn Porter consistently looking flawless in quirky, unique styles the vintage style flag is flying high again:

Today's Vintage Bird Cage 'Pick of the Day' is
this stunning Lulu Guinness Birdcage Umbrella from Brollies Galore:

My next most desired items come from the Seasonal Thomas Sabo Collection.

Diamond encrusted polar bears, prefectly detailed snowflakes and a super stylish snow-doll are just some of the lust-worthy collection at Thomas Sabo at the moment. Which is your favourite?

My Thomas Sabo fave, and therefore my pick of the day, is a proud looking, sparkling penguin perfect for every lady's christmas list. Absolutely adorbs:

Whilst we are on the subject of Christmas (22 sleeps!), have you seen what's on offer in Paperchase's christmas section this year?

Let your gifts stand out from beneath the tree by using some of their delightful 'Scandi' patterned boxes and gift wraps, or use their plain brown gift wrap and complete the look using their wonderful selection of ribbons, stickers and patterned tape!

Their wonderful gift wrap perfect for every present this christmas.

Have a stylish one this year!
